Sekeping Sin Chew Kee is a gorgeous boutique hotel cum event space built by a renowned Malaysian architect for meetings, product launches & company off-sites. The space itself is a converted 2-storey shophouse built in the 1920s with as much of the old structure retained as possible. Added on were recycled timber and timber louvre windows which were salvaged from flats in the surrounding neighbourhood. The colourful ceiling is made up of old painted timber walls taken from other old buildings.
