The Reading Room is my new favorite place in Jakarta.

Atmosphere is good for reading, chilling and working. Walls are covered with books, lots of books (feels like that "Beauty and the Beast" library scene, as you walk in), books of all kinds, including manga for the fans.

The place is mainly populated by young locals who are studying, working or chatting softly over papers, books or laptops.

On top of it: plug points, good wifi and I got a sweet spot in a comfy couch by the window. :)

Staff is really friendly. Note: staff is non-English speaking. Deal with it or learn Bahasa.
